BRILINTA is used to reduce your chances of having another heart attack or dying from a heart attack or fainting, but BRILINTA (and similar systems) can be serious and cause bleeding, sometimes resulting in death. Serious bleeding conditions, such as internal bleeding, may require blood transfusions or surgery. You may bruise and bleed more easily while using Brilinta, and you may be more likely to experience a nosebleed. Bleeding conditions will also last longer than normal.
