Trichuris trichiura (whiplash) treatment. Ascaris lumbricoides (roundworm). Ancylostoma duodenale (common hookworm). Necator americanus (American hookworm), Strongyloidiasis, Enterobius vermicularis (pinworm), and teniasis in single or mixed countries.
For use in
Use in infections caused by arthropods, roundworms, whipworms, and hookworms.
Dosage
- Earworms: 1 tablet. All members of the family should be treated simultaneously and should repeat this treatment after 2 weeks (1 tablet again). This is necessary for effective treatment: the first intake kills all the worms but not their eggs, which can cause a new infection. If no cure is obtained, the full course of treatment must be repeated (1 tablet and another 1 tablet after 2 weeks). The dosage applies to children and adults.
- Cladworms, whipworms, hookworms and mixed infections: 1 tablet morning and evening, for 3 days. If a complete cure is not obtained after 3 weeks, treatment should be repeated. The dosage applies to children and adults.

The dosage depends on the type of worms, treat the whole family. Chew the tablets or swallow whole with water.
Storage advice
Keep out of reach and sight of children in tightly closed original (outer) packaging in a dry place below 25 °C.
Shelf life after opening
Do not use after the expiration date. To be found on the label behind ‘EXP’ are a month and a year. The last day of that month is the expiration date.

Restriction of use
Intolerance to certain sugars. Do not combine with other medications. Consult a physician if symptoms worsen or do not improve within 14 days.

Allergy to any of the active ingredients in this medicine.
Risk warning
Do not use in children under 2 years of age. Consult with a doctor before use if pregnant or nursing and if using metronidazole.
Active ingredient
mebendazole 100mg
With worms other than arthropods or roundworms.
Archaea: thin, pale yellow/white moving worms that are 0.5-1 cm long. They often cause itching in the buttock crevice. For arthropods: 2 weeks after the second dose of mebendazole the worms are not gone even though good hygiene measures have been taken.
- Roundworms: thick roundworm(s) 10-30 cm long and 3-6 mm thick. For roundworms: if 2 weeks after repeated treatment with mebendazole the worms are not gone. Pregnant women and children with a worm infection other than arthropods and if hygienic measures have not worked.
- If the worm infection is accompanied by diarrhea. If you are also taking metronidazole.
